A potential security vulnerability caused by a local debugging capability has been identified with certain versions of Conexant HD Audio Drivers on select HP products. This debugging capability was unintentionally left on the device and should not have been included in the production release. HP does not have access to customer data as a result of this issue. HP has confirmed that any data logged on a device, stays local, is not captured and it is removed when the user logs off or restarts their machine.
