21 Year Old License Nj

Are all drivers under 21 years of age required to display the decal and adhere to the restrictions of the GDL law? No, only those teens under 21 who are holding either a permit or provisional (restricted) license are required to display the decal and abide by the GDL restrictions. It is important to note that under New Jersey’s GDL law, teens are. Mail, will my renewed license be the over 21 year old, horizontal license? Unfortunately the only chage that is allowable whenn renewing by mail is an address change. If you are under 21 and would like a license to reflect that you are over 21 you. I am turning 21 in a couple weeks, but I would rather get my license updated sooner than later. I realize that I would have to get it renewed as another vertical license since I will not yet be of age. Does this matter? Will I have any problems using the vertical format other than a double take from the bartender?

Edit: Thanks for the help everyone! I'm going to go ahead and get one before winter break comes to a bitter end. Once I'm in the swing of things at school I would never feel like going to the dmv anyway. Straight to the taps instead <3
